Do I need a special phone, and how do I connect it?

No special phone is needed. Any touch-tone phone works with Talkit.

1. Unplug your phone's cord (or your cordless phone base's cord) from the wall jack.
2. Plug that cord into Phone 1 on the back of your Talkit device.
