How do I power cycle my Talkit device or modem?
Talkit device
1. Unplug the power cord from the back of your Talkit device.
2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
The device then applies any needed firmware or configuration updates so it's running the latest settings.
Modem or router with a battery backup
If the power light stays on or flashes after you unplug the power, it has a battery, usually on the side.
1. Unplug only the power from the back of the modem/router.
2. Remove the battery and wait 20 seconds.
3. Put the battery back in first, then plug in the power. Plugging in the power before the battery may damage your modem/router.
4. Wait 3 to 5 minutes for it to fully boot up.
